Giving these precious dorks a moment here! Can you believe it's been 14 chapters since Vanhi first proposed to Mordecai? IRL it's been years but in Spidersilk world time, it's only been a few weeks. Shortly after the proposal, Mordecai was stopped at the gate and a mean guard bent on harassing him and his group threw his ring over the entryway bridge. Vanhi, Prentice, and the Ambassador found it in chapter 19 while a group of Coaches was on the way to Saaliet. Vanhi has basically been waiting for 2+ weeks for Mordecai to come home so he can get the ring back to him... and then just got distracted by his cute face instead.
